One of the largest and most versatile Fleet in the Country

Orient Flight School has a fleet of thirteen aircraft, five Cessna 152, five Cessna 172, a Piper Seneca III, a Beech craft King Air C90A and a Beechjet 400. The fleet strength is set to increase in the near future. The Cessna and the Seneca are used for Single and Multi Engine pilot training respectively. The C-90 and the Beech jet are used exclusively for charter operations.

Cessna 152 - Basic two seater VFR/IFR equipped trainer aircraft.

Cessna 172 R Skyhawk - Four seat IFR trainers which are faster and with more advanced avionics. Besides flight training they are normally used for joyrides, aerial survey, charter flights and advanced training exercises. Introduced for the first time in India for flight training is the G1000 Cessna 172R Skyhawk 2008 models for advanced training on next generation technology launched by Cessna.

Piper Seneca III - This six seater twin engine aircraft is used for initial issue of multi-engine endorsements and for instrument flying. It is also utilized as an all weather passenger charter aircraft.

Beechcraft King Air C90A - This is the most widely used advanced turbo-prop, high performance eight seater aircraft for advanced Multi-Engine training. It is an all weather, pressurized aircraft, fully equipped with avionics comparable to commercial airliners.

Beechjet 400 - This aircraft is highly suited for faster business travel to major cities for a team upto 5 members, since it reduces the “on ground airport time” associated with the commercial airlines. The aircraft can accommodate 5 passengers, and a steward in its full capacity. It is an all weather, pressurized air conditioned aircraft equipped with modern avionics. The aircraft can fly above the bad weather region up to 41,000 feet amsl at a cruise speed of 850 KMPH (530 MPH or 460 Kts).

With one of the largest and versatile fleet, amongst the training schools in India, students of OFS have a choice of doing their Multi-Engine training either in the Piper Seneca or in the King Air C90.
